From the outside, Arthur’s looks rather vanilla: a simple white brick building with somewhat overbearing black-and-white striped awnings shading every window. Step inside, however, and you’ll see where all the pizzazz went! Vibrant colors shine from a multitude of light fixtures and illuminated promotional objects of all types, hanging from the shiny tin-tiled ceiling. A Red-and-white awning shades the bar. Matching red-and-white large-check gingham tablecloths are draped over the tables. There is a beautiful wooden bar, with tall wooden chairs matching the chairs at the tables and tiny tiles on the floor.
This steakhouse has been a local favorite for years! Regulars know that they should bring their appetite, because Arthur’s doesn’t skimp on portions! Steaks range from 6oz all the way up to a gut-busting 48oz. That is three pounds of juicy, delicious beef! Juicy burgers, delectable shrimp and salmon, and tender chicken make for a menu that’s sure to satisfy everyone. The drink selection is not vast but they have all the favorite domestic and imported beers available, plus a few interesting choices, and a good selection of cocktails. It’s a good thing they have all that lighting: rumor has it that Arthur’s is haunted by three ghosts who like to “help out” from time to time!
