All nine national dates appear, split between Five Points and the Vista, which for a city of this size is a dense and complete run.
They share the first Saturday but not the window. SantaCon runs 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM while Ugly Sweater closes at eight.
Five Points or the Vista along Gervais Street, and the two are genuinely different evenings, one student-led and one restaurant-led.
Five Points runs young on the University of South Carolina crowd, while the Vista is more restaurant-led and draws an older room.
Considerably. The campus sits between both districts, so term time drives Five Points in particular, and summer thins it substantially.
Substantially. Williams-Brice Stadium holds over eighty thousand people, so an autumn home game reshapes both districts for the entire day.
Severely. The Midlands are among the hottest parts of South Carolina, and the July slot starting at five lands in the worst of it.
The December SantaCon window at ten hours, though New Year's Eve is the only date on the page that actually carries past midnight.
