Santa Pub Crawls
Lexington’s SantaCon brings the Horse Capital of the World’s bar culture and Kentucky holiday spirit to one of the most distinctive December celebrations in the South. The downtown bar scene and the Distillery District have developed into a vibrant setting and when SantaCon arrives the combination of Kentucky Wildcat Big Blue Nation, the bourbon culture heritage, and the excellent local bars creates a holiday celebration with a Lexington character that is warm, sophisticated, and completely Kentucky.
Lexington has one of the South’s finest bar scenes built around a world-class bourbon heritage and the SantaCon reflects that quality. The Santa costume competition draws on the University of Kentucky community and the horse country creative community and the entries have a Kentucky bourbon-country elegance mixed with genuine Santa enthusiasm.
