Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about the Greenville Halloween Bar Crawl 2026
What is the Greenville Halloween Bar Crawl?
A multi-venue Halloween nightlife event through participating Greenville bars. One ticket gets you a wristband, a digital route map, Halloween drink specials and themed cocktails, live DJs at select stops, and access to the official after-party venue.
When does the Greenville crawl run?
Saturday, October 24 from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and Saturday, October 31 from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The earlier Halloween start works well downtown, where Main Street gets busy well before dark.
How walkable is downtown Greenville?
Unusually walkable for a city this size. Main Street runs a long, continuous stretch of bars and restaurants down toward the West End and Falls Park, and almost everything sits within a comfortable walk. You will not need a ride between stops.
Is there a downtown trolley?
Greenlink runs trolley service along the Main Street corridor, which is handy for covering the longer end-to-end stretch toward the West End. Evening hours vary by season, so check the current schedule rather than assuming it will be running late.
Where do I park near Main Street?
The city garages off Main, including the ones near Broad Street and the Poinsett area, are the practical choice and put you right in the middle of the route. Main Street street parking is metered and turns over quickly on a Saturday night.
Is a costume required in Greenville?
Not required, but the crawl runs a social media costume contest with a photographer and videographer working the route. October in the Upstate is mild enough that you can commit to a full costume without freezing between venues.
What is the age policy in Greenville?
21 and over. Bring a valid government-issued photo ID, and expect each venue to check it separately from your wristband. Keep it somewhere you can actually reach through the costume.
Are there discounts for larger groups?
Groups of 20 or more may qualify for discounts, VIP perks, reserved check-in, and private party packages, and there is a group booking form on the event page. Reserved check-in saves real time when you are moving a big group through at once.
