Nothing yet. Union Avenue and the Riverwalk blocks beside it hold the city's cluster, and no date sits against any of it.
The Union Avenue historic district, where restored brick storefronts along the Riverwalk hold the bars and restaurants within a few walkable blocks.
A channel of the Arkansas River restored through downtown in the nineties, with walkways and boat rides linking the Union Avenue frontage.
Its steel mill history and the Pueblo chile, which has a protected local reputation and an annual festival built around it in September.
Regularly. The Springs is forty-five minutes up Interstate 25, carries dates, and has a considerably larger downtown bar scene.
Hot and dry. It is often the warmest city in Colorado, sitting lower than the Front Range cities with far less afternoon relief.
Modestly. The campus has several thousand students but sits away from Union Avenue, and it has never anchored the downtown trade.
Fort Collins has a dense downtown, a large student body and a brewery reputation. Pueblo has the historic district but a much thinner night trade.
