Nothing yet. The Ithaca Commons is a pedestrianised mall ringed with bars, and no date sits against it.
The Ithaca Commons downtown, with Collegetown up the hill by the Cornell campus as the alternative.
Because it is pedestrianised and lined with bars and restaurants, so a route there involves no roads and very little walking.
Considerably. Cornell and Ithaca College together give the town a student population far larger than its permanent residents.
Between districts, very much. The Commons is flat, but Collegetown sits up a genuine climb, which separates the two entirely.
Cold and damp. The Finger Lakes hold moisture and the town sits in a valley, so winter evenings feel sharper than the temperature.
Substantially. Both campuses break, which strips out most of the drinking population until term resumes in late August.
Syracuse carries seven dates an hour north. Ithaca has none listed but a better pedestrian setting in the Commons.
