WXYZ (the Aloft bar)
There bar WXYZ is one of my favorite Hangouts and downtown Cleveland. The bar service was great, and they were friendly. The atmosphere in the WXYZ line was very relaxing, and I really liked the fireplace. The room was clean and has a substantial amount of outlets. The hotel itself is in a suitable location as it is walking distance to a lot of different spots. The catering staff was very accommodating and friendly.
The valet was very efficient, and I did not wait long for them to come park my car or to bring it when I left. All the housekeeping staff seemed friendly as they all spoke and were very cordial. My overall experience was great. There are just a few things that I think the cleaning staff should have noticed and rectified. I loved the layout of the room and my husband and I had a wonderful time at WXYZ. It is perfectly placed in downtown Cleveland.
Aloft is situated right in the energetic East Bank/Flats district. Lots of good restaurants are located right on the lakefront and the Cuyahoga River. The hotel offered a very convenient shuttle to both stadiums which was awesome! Check-in/Front desk was amazingly fast and super friendly. Rooms were clean and the view of the flats/river were sick! Efficient use of space in the rooms and very modern. Room service. Bar. At check in level was WXYZ bar, great hangout, fast drinks, nice bartenders, pool table, outdoor patio, very spacious. Underground valet parking was fast and efficient. Our experience was fantastic, and I would totally come back again! Thanks Aloft for contributing to a very memorable weekend!
