Wichita put its nightlife into Old Town, a restored warehouse district that suits a routed crawl about as well as any layout can. The Pride Bar Crawl works that district on one wristband.
Old Town holds bars, restaurants and music rooms inside a compact brick grid with cobblestone streets. Everything on this route is a short walk, which means the evening is spent in rooms rather than getting to them.
June on the Kansas plains brings long evenings and warm nights. The district fills up once the sun drops, and the outdoor space around the square stays usable well into the night.
Our hosts run the Old Town route with the stops confirmed in advance. Specials are agreed at each bar and the wristband covers every door in the district.
