Frequently Asked Questions
When is the White Plains Cinco de Mayo Bar Crawl?
Saturday, May 1, 2027, from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM. That takes the Saturday of the weekend before, since the holiday itself lands on a Wednesday in 2027.
Which part of White Plains does the route use?
Mamaroneck Avenue, where the bars and restaurants concentrate into a short downtown strip. Your confirmed check-in venue and participating lineup arrive with the ticket confirmation. Your confirmed check-in venue arrives with the ticket confirmation.
Is Mamaroneck Avenue walkable that evening?
Very. The participating bars sit a minute or two apart along one stretch, which is what makes White Plains work as a night out for the whole of Westchester.
What is Westchester weather like in early May?
Mild and changeable, usually in the 50s and 60s after dark. Lower Hudson Valley springs arrive properly by then, though evenings still need a light jacket. Dress for the walking rather than for the forecast headline.
Can I take Metro-North to White Plains?
Yes. The Harlem Line stops in the centre of town within walking distance of Mamaroneck Avenue, which makes it a practical way in from Manhattan or further north.
Does Westchester have a Mexican-American community?
A substantial one, particularly in Port Chester and parts of White Plains itself. That gives the date more local grounding here than in many suburban markets. Worth confirming before you commit to the evening.
Who turns out in White Plains for this?
A broad Westchester crowd across a wide age range. The town draws from the surrounding suburbs rather than running purely on its own residents. Your ticket confirmation carries the specifics.
Should I arrange a ride home in White Plains on Cinco de Mayo?
If you are not taking the train, yes. Rideshare demand across Westchester rises on a themed Saturday and the county roads are dark and quiet after midnight.
