Washington D.C.
Pride Bar Crawl
Washington holds its best bar run along the U Street corridor, and the Pride Bar Crawl works that stretch. The route covers the street and the blocks either side.
U Street carries bars, music rooms and restaurants in a dense line with Metro stations at both ends. The corridor has been a nightlife street for a century, and the concentration still shows.
June in the District is warm and humid with long evenings. The corridor fills after work and stays busy well past midnight.
Our hosts run the U Street route with the stops set in advance. Specials are agreed at each bar and one wristband covers every door.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Washington, D.C. Pride Bar Crawl?
Washington runs one of the largest Pride celebrations in the country. One wristband covers the participating venues, plus a digital 3D map, drink specials, and official after-party access.
What date does the Washington page list?
Saturday, June 26, 2027, opening at 5:00 PM. Late June in Washington is warm and long-lit, so a five o'clock start still puts the first stops in full daylight.
When is Capital Pride?
Washington holds Capital Pride in June, with the parade and festival drawing crowds from across the mid-Atlantic, so a late-June crawl lands inside a very busy month.
Where is Washington's LGBTQ nightlife?
The Dupont Circle and Logan Circle blocks carry the historic venues, with the U Street corridor and Shaw adding more. Your confirmed check-in venue comes with your ticket.
Is the Dupont area walkable for this?
Very. The Dupont and Logan Circle blocks keep venues within a short walk of each other, and U Street is one Metro stop away if the route stretches that far.
What should I wear in Washington in June?
Something light. Late June in the District is hot and humid, sitting in the 80s and 90s with air that does not thin out much after the sun goes down.
How busy is Washington that weekend?
Very. Capital Pride is one of the biggest events on the city's calendar, so book any hotel well ahead and expect long door lines anywhere without a wristband.
Should I buy the Washington ticket ahead?
Yes. Capital Pride weekend demand across the District is very high, and ticketed nightlife events with limited capacity do not survive anywhere close to the date itself.
