Toledo’s SantaCon brings the Glass City’s bar culture and Northwest Ohio holiday spirit to one of the most community-grounded December celebrations in the Great Lakes region. The downtown Toledo and the Warehouse District bar areas have developed into a vibrant scene and when SantaCon arrives the combination of the Toledo Mud Hens minor league baseball community, the Toledo Museum of Art cultural heritage, and the excellent local bars creates a holiday celebration with a Toledo character that is warm, community-driven, and genuinely Northwest Ohio.
Toledo has one of the finest art museums in America and a passionate sports community and the SantaCon reflects that combination of cultural sophistication and community pride. The Santa costume competition draws on the University of Toledo community and the Toledo arts and museum community and the entries have a Glass City combination of Midwest warmth and genuine creative ambition.
