Santa Pub Crawls
Tampa’s SantaCon brings the Cigar City’s bar culture and Gulf Coast holiday spirit to one of the most celebrated December nights in Florida. Ybor City is one of the most unique and historically rich bar districts in America and when SantaCon arrives the combination of the Cuban heritage, the Tampa Bay sports culture energy, and the excellent local bars creates a holiday celebration that has a Tampa character unlike any other SantaCon in the Southeast.
Tampa’s bar culture is shaped by the Ybor City Cuban tobacco heritage, the Gulf Coast fishing tradition, and the passionate sports fan culture of a city with major league teams in every major sport. The Santa costume competition draws on all of that community energy and the entries reflect the Tampa Bay combination of Cuban warmth, Southern Florida fun, and genuine December celebration.
December in Tampa is mild, typically ranging from 52 to 68 degrees at night. The Gulf Coast Florida winter is excellent outdoor weather and Ybor City at Christmas has a warm, historic energy that benefits from the beautiful brick streets, the wrought iron, and the Tampa Bay holiday atmosphere.
