Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about the St. Petersburg Halloween Bar Crawl 2026
What is the St. Petersburg Halloween Bar Crawl?
Central Avenue gives St. Pete an unusually long run of bars in close to a straight line, which is ideal for a crawl. Your ticket covers wristband entry to participating venues, a digital 3D map, Halloween drink specials, and after-party access.
What are the St. Pete dates and hours?
Saturday, October 24 and Saturday, October 31, both running 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Both dates share the same window on this event, so you do not need to double-check the start time against your ticket.
Is this the same as the Tampa crawl?
No. St. Petersburg and Tampa are separate cities across the bay with separate crawls, separate routes, and separate tickets. If you want the Central Avenue and EDGE District side of the bay, this is the right page.
Which part of St. Pete does the route use?
The city's nightlife runs along Central Avenue, through the EDGE District and the Grand Central area, with Beach Drive closer to the waterfront. It is a walkable corridor. Your confirmed venues come with your ticket.
Can I get here on the SunRunner?
Yes. The SunRunner bus rapid transit runs along the Central Avenue and First Avenue corridors between downtown St. Pete and the beaches, which makes it a practical way to reach the route without parking.
Where do I park near Central Avenue?
The downtown garages near Central Avenue and the Sundial area are the reliable option. Street parking downtown is metered and heavily used on a Saturday evening, and the EDGE District lots fill early.
What should I wear in the humidity?
Tampa Bay in late October is still warm and humid, frequently in the 80s. Pick a costume that breathes and can handle several hours outdoors between air-conditioned venues. Skip full masks and heavy fabric.
Do costumes matter on the St. Pete crawl?
Not required, but the crawl runs a social media costume contest with a photographer and videographer on the route. Central Avenue turns out in force on Halloween, so a real costume is the standard here.
