Pride Bar Crawl
Savannah is one of the few American cities where an open container is legal downtown, and the Pride Bar Crawl works that. The route covers the Historic District around City Market.
The district is a grid of squares under live oaks with bars and restaurants along the streets between them. Being able to walk between stops with a drink in hand changes the shape of the whole evening.
June on the Georgia coast is hot and humid with the evenings staying warm. The squares and the riverfront fill once the day heat drops and the district runs late.
Our hosts run the Historic District route with the stops confirmed in advance. Specials are agreed at each bar and one wristband covers every door.
