Pride Bar Crawl
San Francisco has more bars per block than almost any American city, and the Pride Bar Crawl works the Mission. The route covers the stretch where the rooms sit closest together.
The Mission holds dive bars, cocktail rooms and taquerias along Valencia and Mission Street, all within a flat walkable grid. In a city of hills, flat matters more than it sounds.
June in the Bay Area brings fog and wind more than heat, and the Mission is the warmest part of the city. The route stays comfortable while the rest of town is under cloud.
Our hosts run the Mission route with the stops confirmed beforehand. Specials are agreed at each bar and the wristband covers every stop.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the San Francisco Pride Bar Crawl?
San Francisco is where much of modern Pride took shape, and this crawl gives a slice of that nightlife a route, a wristband, drink specials, and after-party access.
What window does the San Francisco page list?
Saturday, June 26, 2027, from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Three hours in Pacific Time, which on the single busiest weekend of the San Francisco year is a very tight evening.
When is San Francisco Pride?
San Francisco holds its Pride parade on the last Sunday in June, one of the largest anywhere, so a Saturday crawl lands squarely on parade eve with the city already full.
Where is San Francisco's LGBTQ nightlife?
The Castro is the historic center and remains the densest concentration, with SoMa carrying a separate and later scene. Your confirmed check-in venue comes with your ticket.
Is the Castro walkable for a crawl?
Yes, within itself. The Castro Street blocks keep venues close together, though the hills either side of the district are a good deal steeper than the map suggests.
What should I wear in San Francisco in June?
Something light with a real layer. June is the coldest and foggiest stretch of the San Francisco year, and evenings in the 50s catch visitors out constantly.
How busy will San Francisco be that weekend?
Extraordinarily. Pride weekend fills hotels across the city and the Castro is shoulder to shoulder by early evening, so buy ahead and plan the trip home in advance.
Should I buy the San Francisco ticket early?
Yes, without hesitation. This is the single busiest nightlife weekend in the city calendar and a three-hour window with limited capacity will not survive close to the date.
