Pittsburgh’s SantaCon brings the Steel City’s bar culture and Pennsylvania holiday spirit to one of the most passionately community-oriented December celebrations in the Northeast. The South Side, Carson Street, and the downtown Pittsburgh bar districts are the heart of Yinzer nightlife and when SantaCon arrives the combination of Steelers and Penguins fandom, the three-rivers city character, and the exceptional local bars creates a holiday celebration with a Pittsburgh quality that is warm, passionate, and completely Yinzer.
Pittsburgh is one of the great American comeback cities and the SantaCon reflects the community pride and warmth that defines Yinzer culture. The Santa costume competition draws on the Carnegie Mellon, Pitt, and steelworker community and the entries have a Pittsburgh combination of black-and-gold enthusiasm, Yinzer humor, and genuine holiday spirit that is completely this city.
