About
Phoenix, AZ
Pride Bar Crawl
Phoenix is a driving city with one genuinely walkable core, and the Pride Bar Crawl stays inside it. The route covers downtown and Roosevelt Row.
Roosevelt Row holds the independent bars, galleries and taprooms in a compact grid just north of the downtown blocks. Keeping the route here is the only way to run this format without a car.
June in the Valley is extremely hot, which makes the evening the only sensible time to be outside. The dry air cools quickly after sunset and the district fills once it does.
Our hosts run the downtown route with the stops confirmed beforehand. Specials are agreed at each bar and the wristband covers every stop.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Phoenix Pride Bar Crawl?
Phoenix keeps its queer nightlife along a defined stretch of Seventh Avenue rather than scattered across the valley, and this Pride crawl gives participating venues a mapped route.
What window does the Phoenix page list?
Saturday, June 26, 2027, from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Three hours, and in a Phoenix June that eight o'clock start is not a stylistic choice but a survival one.
Why is Phoenix Pride not in June?
Because June heat in the valley makes a large outdoor festival genuinely unworkable. Phoenix holds its main Pride parade and festival in April instead, when the weather cooperates.
Where is the Phoenix LGBTQ nightlife?
The Melrose District along Seventh Avenue is the long-standing center of it, with downtown offering broader mixed rooms nearby. Your check-in venue comes with your ticket confirmation.
Is the Phoenix crawl open to allies?
Yes. The Melrose District rooms draw a broadly mixed crowd and this is a public ticketed event. A valid photo ID is checked at every Phoenix door on the route.
How hot is Phoenix in late June?
Extreme. Afternoon highs above 110 are normal in late June and the temperature is still in the 90s at midnight, which shapes everything about how the night works.
Can I take light rail to the Phoenix crawl?
Only partly. Valley Metro light rail serves downtown and Roosevelt Row well but does not run along the Melrose stretch of Seventh Avenue, so plan a ride if the route sits there.
What should I wear in Phoenix in June?
The lightest thing you own, without qualification. This is desert heat that does not break at sunset, so anything layered becomes a problem before the first stop ends.
