About
Pacific Beach, CA
Pride Bar Crawl
Pacific Beach runs its nightlife along Garnet Avenue, a straight line of bars heading toward the ocean. The Pride Bar Crawl covers that stretch.
Garnet is as dense a bar street as the county has, with the boardwalk at the western end. The route stays on one avenue, so the walking is minimal and the water is always close.
June on the coast brings the marine layer in the mornings and clear mild evenings. The avenue fills once the beach crowd moves indoors and stays busy until closing.
Our hosts run the Garnet Avenue route with the stops set beforehand. Specials are agreed at each bar and the wristband covers every stop.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Pacific Beach Pride Bar Crawl?
Pacific Beach runs a dense beach-town bar strip along Garnet Avenue, and this Pride crawl links the participating venues there on one wristband with a digital map.
What window does Pacific Beach list?
Saturday, June 26, 2027, from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Three hours in Pacific Time, though on a strip as short as Garnet Avenue that covers the route comfortably.
When is San Diego Pride?
San Diego holds its main Pride parade and festival in July, centered on Hillcrest rather than the beaches, so a June Pacific Beach crawl is a separate occasion.
How does Pacific Beach differ from Hillcrest?
Considerably. Hillcrest is San Diego's LGBTQ district with the community venues and the Pride festival. Pacific Beach is a beach nightlife strip with a younger, broader crowd.
Which Pacific Beach venues does the route use?
The participating bars sit along Garnet Avenue and the blocks running down toward the boardwalk, close together on foot. Your confirmed check-in venue comes with your ticket confirmation.
Is the Pacific Beach crawl open to allies?
Yes. It is a public ticketed nightlife event and the Garnet Avenue crowd is broad by default. A valid photo ID is checked at every door on the route.
What should I wear in Pacific Beach in June?
Something light with a layer. June gloom keeps San Diego beaches grey through the morning, and the evening cools into the 60s with damp air off the ocean.
Do I need a car in Pacific Beach?
Not once you are there. Garnet Avenue works entirely on foot, but getting to Pacific Beach from elsewhere in San Diego usually means rideshare or a bus.
