About
Omaha, NE
Pride Bar Crawl
Omaha keeps its nightlife in the Old Market, and the Pride Bar Crawl works that district. The route covers the cobblestone blocks where the bars sit closest together.
The Old Market is a compact grid of restored warehouses with bars, restaurants and galleries inside. The cobblestones and the short distances make this one of the more pleasant districts in the Midwest to walk. The brick and the cobblestone are the reason the district survived at all, and they are also why walking it feels different from any other Midwestern downtown on this list.
June in eastern Nebraska is warm with long evenings. The district fills after work and the outdoor seating stays busy well past dark.
Our hosts run the Old Market route with the stops arranged in advance. Specials are confirmed at each bar and one wristband covers every door.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Omaha Pride Bar Crawl?
The Old Market keeps Omaha's bars in a few cobblestone blocks of restored warehouses, which is close to purpose-built for a Pride crawl on one wristband and one map.
What window does the Omaha page list?
Saturday, June 26, 2027, opening at 6:00 PM. Five hours listed, which in a district as small as the Old Market means you can pace the night rather than chase it.
When is Heartland Pride?
Omaha runs the region's main Pride festival and parade in the summer, so a June crawl generally sits inside or beside that stretch. Check the local calendar before booking.
Where is Omaha's LGBTQ nightlife?
The Old Market downtown carries most of it, with Benson and the Blackstone District offering newer and more neighborhood-flavored rooms. Your check-in venue comes with your ticket.
How does Omaha compare to a Kansas City Pride night?
Kansas City carries the bigger June festival and the denser districts. Omaha's Old Market is smaller and more contained, which makes for an easier evening to navigate on foot.
What should I wear in Omaha in June?
Something light. Eastern Nebraska in late June runs warm and humid into the evening, with a genuine chance of a plains thunderstorm arriving partway through the crawl.
Are the Old Market cobblestones an issue?
They can be. Omaha's Old Market keeps its bars close together, which is ideal, but the cobblestone streets underfoot are worth thinking about before you choose footwear.
Should I buy the Omaha ticket ahead?
Worth doing. The Old Market is a small district and a Heartland Pride weekend pulls a crowd from across eastern Nebraska and western Iowa into those few blocks.
