Pride Bar Crawl
Oklahoma City has spent a decade building districts worth walking, and the Pride Bar Crawl works that side of town. The route covers the Plaza District and reaches into Midtown.
The Plaza is a short run of independent bars, restaurants and music rooms. Midtown nearby adds the newer cocktail bars. Both are compact, which is why the route can cover them without a car.
June in central Oklahoma is hot with long evenings and plains wind. The districts fill once the day heat drops and the patios stay in use until closing.
Our hosts run the route through both districts with the stops set beforehand. Specials are agreed at each bar and the wristband covers every stop.
