Knoxville splits its nightlife between Market Square and the Old City, and the Pride Bar Crawl uses both. The two sit a short walk apart downtown.
Market Square is a pedestrian plaza ringed with bars and restaurants. The Old City a few blocks away holds the music rooms and the older bars. Neither is far from the other, which keeps the route tight.
June in East Tennessee is warm and humid with the mountains keeping the evenings pleasant. The square fills after work and stays busy well past dark.
