About
Jersey City, NJ
Pride Bar Crawl
Jersey City built a real bar scene of its own and the Pride Bar Crawl works downtown. The route covers the Grove Street area where the rooms sit closest together.
The downtown grid holds restaurants, cocktail bars and taprooms inside a few walkable blocks, with the Manhattan skyline across the water. The PATH station sits in the middle of the route, which makes arriving easy.
June in Hudson County is warm with the harbor breeze taking the edge off. The waterfront is busy and the downtown streets fill well into the night.
Our hosts run the downtown route with the stops confirmed beforehand. Specials are agreed at each bar and the wristband covers every stop.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Jersey City Pride Bar Crawl?
The Newark Avenue pedestrian plaza has turned downtown Jersey City into a genuine bar district, and this Pride crawl works the participating venues along it on one wristband.
What date does the Jersey City page show?
Saturday, June 26, 2027, from 5:00 PM. The Newark Avenue plaza is at its best in the early evening, when the outdoor seating is in use and the light is still good.
When is Jersey City Pride?
Jersey City holds its main Pride festival in the late summer rather than June, so a June crawl generally sits ahead of that weekend rather than inside it.
Where does the Jersey City Pride route run?
Downtown around Grove Street and the Newark Avenue pedestrian plaza, where the participating venues sit within a couple of minutes of each other. Your confirmed check-in venue comes with your ticket.
Is the Jersey City crawl open to allies?
Yes. It is a public ticketed event and the downtown room is broadly mixed on a Saturday. A valid photo ID is checked at every venue on the route.
What should I wear in Jersey City in June?
Something light. Late June here runs warm and humid into the evening, usually in the 70s and 80s, though the plaza catches whatever breeze comes up from the harbor.
Can I take PATH to the Jersey City Pride crawl?
Yes. Grove Street station opens straight onto the Newark Avenue plaza where the route sits, and PATH trains reach it from both Midtown and downtown Manhattan in minutes.
How does this compare to a Hoboken night?
Jersey City is bigger and more spread out, and the Newark Avenue plaza is the part that most resembles Hoboken. Hoboken is denser but smaller, and the crowds differ.
