Iowa City rings in the New Year with the spirited enthusiasm of a university town that takes its bar culture seriously. The Ped Mall and surrounding streets offer some of the best bar density in the Midwest and on December 31st the whole district comes alive with locals, students, and visitors from across eastern Iowa.
Our Iowa City New Years Eve Pub Crawl moves through the Ped Mall corridor and surrounding blocks, stopping at venues that deliver genuine hospitality and strong drink programs. Iowa City bars are independently owned, opinionated, and good at what they do. Our partner venues represent the best of that tradition.
