Santa Pub Crawls
Houston’s SantaCon brings the Space City’s bar culture and Gulf Coast holiday spirit to one of the most diverse and energetic December celebrations in America. Midtown, Montrose, and the Washington Avenue bar corridor are the heart of Houston nightlife and when SantaCon arrives the combination of the Houston energy industry and NASA culture, the most ethnically diverse major city in America, and the exceptional local bars creates a holiday celebration that is big, diverse, and completely H-Town.
Houston is America’s most diverse city with more than 145 languages spoken and the SantaCon reflects that extraordinary multicultural energy. The Santa costume competition draws on the Rice, UH, and Texas Southern communities and the Houston arts community and the entries represent every cultural interpretation of Santa from every corner of the world that has made Houston its home.
December in Houston is mild and warm, typically ranging from 45 to 60 degrees at night. The Gulf Coast winter is comfortable and the Midtown and Montrose bar communities are among the finest in Texas with some of the most diverse bar selections in the country.
Our hosts manage the Houston route through Midtown, Montrose, and Washington Avenue. Specials confirmed at every stop, wristbands handle entry, and the Santa competition celebrates Space City diversity and creativity.
