About
Hoboken, NJ
Thanksgiving Eve
Hoboken packs more bars into a square mile than almost anywhere in New Jersey, and on the night before Thanksgiving the whole mile is working. The Thanksgiving Eve Bar Crawl runs Washington Street.
Washington Street is the entire route. The strip carries the bulk of the city’s bars along one straight line, so the crawl spends its time in rooms rather than on sidewalks. On a night this busy that matters.
Hoboken has an unusually strong hold on the people who grew up here, and the ones who left come back for the holiday. This is the single biggest night of the year on Washington Street and it has been for a long time.
Our hosts run the Washington Street route with the stops confirmed in advance. Specials are agreed at each bar and the wristband covers every door on the strip.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Hoboken Thanksgiving Eve Bar Crawl?
Hoboken on Thanksgiving Eve is one of the most concentrated bar nights anywhere in America. The crawl covers participating Washington Street venues on one wristband with a digital map.
Has a Hoboken Thanksgiving Eve date been posted?
Not in the selector yet. Thanksgiving Eve is Wednesday, November 25 in 2026, and Hoboken's version of it is genuinely among the most concentrated bar nights in America.
Why is Thanksgiving Eve so big in Hoboken?
Because a square mile of bars meets everyone who ever lived here coming back. Washington Street on that Wednesday is genuinely shoulder to shoulder from early evening.
How cold is Hoboken in late November?
Cold, usually in the 30s and 40s after dark with wind coming off the Hudson. The short distances between bars are the only thing making it comfortable.
Is Washington Street walkable in that cold?
Yes, and it is the whole point. The participating bars sit a few doors apart, which is why Hoboken handles a freezing Wednesday better than almost anywhere.
Can I get back to Manhattan afterwards?
Yes, via PATH from Hoboken Terminal, though do check the late schedule first. Thanksgiving Eve rideshare through the tunnels is genuinely expensive and slow by comparison. Check the last PATH departure first.
Do Hoboken venues card hard that night?
Very. Door staff here card everyone on Thanksgiving Eve without exception, checking a valid government-issued photo ID at each venue separately from the crawl wristband itself. Keep the card somewhere reachable.
Should I buy the Hoboken ticket ahead?
Yes, and as early as possible. This is the busiest night of the Hoboken year by a distance, and the participating rooms sell through several weeks beforehand.
