Eugene’s second SantaCon brings the Emerald Valley back for another round of Whiteaker neighborhood and downtown Oregon holiday celebration. The second Eugene SantaCon draws on all the elements that made the first event excellent and adds the energy of a community that has been waiting all season for another chance to celebrate in Santa suits through the best bars in the Pacific Northwest.
The second Eugene SantaCon benefits from the lessons of the first, the bar relationships that have been strengthened, and the Whiteaker and UO community’s built-up enthusiasm for doing it again. The Santa costume competition in the second event tends to feature even more elaborate entries from participants who spent the time between events upgrading their costumes.
December in Eugene is cold and rainy, typically ranging from 35 to 45 degrees at night. The Willamette Valley winter is real and the Whiteaker bar community provides the warm, craft beer-stocked hospitality that made the first Eugene SantaCon excellent.
