About
Delray Beach, FL
Halloween Pub Crawls
The Delray Beach Halloween Bar Crawl is centered on Atlantic Avenue, the palm-lined main street that runs east from the Intracoastal toward the beach and holds most of the town’s bars and restaurants. Pineapple Grove, just north, adds a second pocket of nightlife a short walk away. Come with an eye on the side streets too, since the best people-watching in town happens between the bars.
Palm Beach County does Halloween in warm weather, and Delray’s crowd shows it. Locals, snowbirds who arrive early for the season, and friend groups from Boca Raton, Boynton Beach and West Palm Beach fill the avenue. Many come in group costumes, and the people-watching is half the entertainment. Many of the people in costume will have walked over from nearby streets, so the avenue feels like a neighborhood party.
South Florida at the end of October still feels like summer after dark, with temperatures often in the 70s and 80s and some humidity left over. Pick a costume that breathes, bring something to blot sweat, and wear comfortable shoes. The Atlantic Avenue sidewalks are wide, but the evening crowd moves slowly. Plan shoes for sidewalks and the occasional brick crossing rather than heels meant for a dance floor.
You receive a wristband, a downtown route map and Halloween specials with each ticket. Bring a photo ID that proves you are 21 or older and watch your email for check-in details.

What is the Delray Beach Halloween Bar Crawl?
A ticketed Halloween route along Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach. The listing includes a costume contest and after-party access alongside the wristband and the drink specials at each stop.
When does the Delray Halloween crawl run?
Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Halloween itself lands on a Saturday that year, which makes this the strongest date the holiday gets.
Does Delray Beach run a costume contest?
The listing says so, which is worth knowing because most crawls on this site do not include one. Judging details are not published, so ask at check-in.
What does Delray's after-party access cover?
The Delray listing includes it, though it does not name the venue or the hours. Treat it as an extra on the wristband and confirm the specifics when you check in.
How warm is Halloween in Delray Beach?
Low eighties in the afternoon and high seventies by dark, with humidity. A heavy costume that works in Ohio will not survive a 3:00 PM start on Atlantic Avenue.
Where on Atlantic Avenue does it concentrate?
The stretch running east from Swinton toward the beach, which holds the densest run of bars and restaurants in Palm Beach County within a genuinely walkable few blocks.
Is a 3:00 PM start unusual for Halloween?
It is early, and it is deliberate. Starting mid-afternoon in Florida means the first stops happen in daylight, which suits costumes better than it suits the heat.
Is parking hard on Atlantic Avenue at Halloween?
Yes. The garages off the Avenue fill early on a Saturday night, and October 31 is the busiest of them. A drop-off costs less time than circling does. 1 city pages | 8 FAQs each
