Pride Bar Crawl
Chicago is a city of neighborhoods and the Pride Bar Crawl stays inside one of them. The route works Lakeview and the Southport corridor on the north side.
Lakeview holds one of the densest bar concentrations in the city, with the Southport stretch adding restaurants and quieter rooms. Keeping the route in one neighborhood means no train rides in the middle of the night.
June in Chicago is the payoff for the winter. The lake keeps the evenings comfortable, every patio in the neighborhood opens, and the streets stay busy until closing.
Our hosts run the Lakeview route with the stops arranged beforehand. Specials are confirmed at each bar and one wristband covers every stop.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Chicago Pride Bar Crawl?
Chicago has one of the largest and oldest LGBTQ nightlife districts in the country, and this crawl gives a slice of it a mapped route with a wristband, digital map, drink specials, and after-party access.
What date and window does Chicago list?
Saturday, June 26, 2027, from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Five hours in Central Time, and worth confirming at checkout given how early the North Side fills on Pride weekend.
How does this sit with the Chicago Pride Parade?
The city's parade traditionally runs on the last Sunday in June, so a Saturday crawl lands on parade eve. Expect the whole North Side to already be busy.
Where is Chicago's LGBTQ nightlife?
Northalsted on the North Side is the historic center, with Andersonville further up as the quieter counterpart. Your confirmed check-in venue and lineup come with your ticket confirmation.
Should I take the CTA in Chicago?
Yes. The Red and Brown lines both reach the relevant North Side neighborhoods, and on Pride weekend driving and parking there is a genuinely poor use of your evening.
Is the Chicago crawl open to allies?
Yes. Northalsted on Pride weekend draws one of the biggest and most mixed crowds in the country, and this is a public ticketed event. Every venue checks a photo ID.
What should I wear in Chicago in late June?
Something light and colorful. Chicago in late June sits in the 70s and 80s into the evening, though the lake keeps it cooler than the forecast suggests after dark.
How busy will Chicago be that weekend?
Very. Pride weekend is one of the biggest nightlife weekends of the Chicago year, so buy ahead, book any hotel early, and expect long waits at anything without a wristband.
