Boise keeps its nightlife in a compact downtown, and the Pride Bar Crawl works that core. The route covers the blocks around Main and the Basque Block.
The downtown holds bars, breweries and restaurants within a short walk of each other, with the Basque Block adding something no other American city has. The scale makes the route straightforward. The Basque Block is a genuine oddity in American nightlife, a concentrated piece of a culture that settled here generations ago and still runs its own rooms.
June in the Treasure Valley is warm and dry with long evenings. The heat drops off after sunset and the downtown fills once it does.
