About Saint Paddys Pub Crawls
Baltimore has one of the deepest Irish-American roots of any city on the East Coast, and every March that history comes out of the rowhouses and into the bars. The St. Paddy’s Pub Crawl works the Federal Hill and Fells Point corridors, where the pub density is high enough that the whole night happens on foot and the crowd never thins out.
Fells Point is the oldest part of this story. The waterfront blocks have been serving sailors and dockworkers since the eighteenth century, and several of the rooms on the route still feel like it. Federal Hill sits across the harbor with a younger, louder crowd. Between the two districts the crawl gets both the old Baltimore pub and the modern one.
St. Patrick’s Day here is not a costume holiday borrowed from somewhere else. Baltimore’s Irish community built neighborhoods, churches and unions in this city, and March in Charm City carries that weight underneath the green beads. The parade crowd and the pub crowd overlap heavily, and the day runs long.
Our Baltimore route is built around the pubs that pour a proper Guinness and mean it.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Baltimore St. Paddy's Bar Crawl?
Baltimore has old Irish neighborhoods and pubs to match, particularly around Fells Point and Locust Point. The daytime crawl links participating bars on one wristband with drink specials at every stop.
Has a Baltimore date been posted?
Baltimore has no date up. St. Patrick's Day 2027 falls on a Wednesday, so the Saturday before is the likely night, with the city parade close to it.
Which part of Baltimore does the crawl use?
Federal Hill, Fells Point and Canton are the realistic candidates, and each has a distinct character. Your confirmed check-in venue arrives with the ticket confirmation. Each option is a distinctly different night.
Does Baltimore have an Irish parade?
A long-standing one. The city's St. Patrick's parade usually runs on the Sunday before the holiday through downtown, which makes that whole weekend a busy one here.
How cold is Baltimore in mid March?
Cool and changeable, usually in the 40s and 50s during the afternoon. Maryland March swings between genuinely mild and genuinely raw, so check the forecast beforehand. The first hour outside tells you what you should have brought.
Is Fells Point walkable that day?
Very. The cobbled blocks around the square keep the participating bars close together, which is exactly what a long daytime crawl needs from a district. Treat the confirmed venue list as the outer bounds of the walking.
Is there a Baltimore Irish pub tradition?
A real one. The city has old Irish neighborhoods and pubs to match, particularly around Fells Point and Locust Point, which gives the holiday genuine local roots here.
Should I arrange a ride home in Baltimore?
Yes, and agree a pickup point off the main square. Rideshare demand peaks hard on this Saturday and Fells Point in particular gets congested at closing. Settle it before the first stop rather than after the last.
