Pride Bar Crawl
Alexandria runs its nightlife along King Street in Old Town, and the Pride Bar Crawl covers that stretch. The route works the street down toward the Potomac.
King Street is a long run of bars and restaurants inside eighteenth century buildings, ending at the waterfront. The whole route is one street, which keeps the group together and the walking simple. The street slopes gently the whole way down, so the route effectively walks itself, and the waterfront at the bottom gives the evening somewhere to finish.
June in Northern Virginia is warm and humid with the river keeping the evenings bearable. The street fills after work and stays busy well past dark.
