Santa Pub Crawls
Greensboro’s SantaCon brings the Gate City’s bar culture and Piedmont Triad holiday spirit to one of the most college-community-saturated December celebrations in North Carolina. The downtown Greensboro and the South Elm Street bar corridor have developed into a vibrant scene and when SantaCon arrives the combination of the civil rights heritage, the UNCG, NC A&T, and Guilford College academic communities, and the excellent local bars creates a holiday celebration with a Greensboro character that is warm, historically significant, and completely the Gate City.
Greensboro is a city with deep civil rights heritage anchored by the Woolworth’s lunch counter sit-ins and the SantaCon reflects the community’s tradition of courage and celebration. The Santa costume competition draws on the multiple Greensboro university communities and the Piedmont arts scene and the entries have a Gate City combination of historical awareness and genuine holiday enthusiasm.
December in Greensboro is cold to cool, typically ranging from 28 to 42 degrees at night. The Piedmont Triad winter is moderate and the South Elm Street bar community is warm and welcoming with a creative scene that reflects the Gate City’s growing arts investment.
Our hosts manage the Greensboro route through South Elm Street and the downtown bar corridor. Specials confirmed at every stop, wristbands handle entry, and the Santa competition celebrates Gate City creativity.
Cleveland takes SantaCon seriously in the same way it takes everything else seriously. The costume competition here draws on the creative energy of a city that has produced generations of artists, athletes, and entertainers and the entries reflect that Ohio combination of commitment, humor, and genuine holiday enthusiasm. When a Cleveland bar fills with Santas on SantaCon night the energy is loud, warm, and completely Cleveland.
December in Cleveland is cold, typically ranging from 22 to 32 degrees at night, with the possibility of Lake Erie lake-effect snow. The Ohio winter is real and the Cleveland bar community is built for it. The Warehouse District and East Fourth Street are two of the warmest and most welcoming winter bar destinations in the Midwest.
Our hosts manage the Cleveland route with local knowledge. Every stop is confirmed, wristbands handle entry, and the Santa costume competition runs all night long.
