Santa Pub Crawls
Lancaster’s SantaCon brings the Red Rose City’s bar culture and Lancaster County holiday spirit to one of the most historically authentic December celebrations in Pennsylvania. The downtown Lancaster and the Central Market area bar corridor are the heart of Red Rose City nightlife and when SantaCon arrives the combination of the Lancaster County Amish and Pennsylvania Dutch cultural heritage, the Franklin and Marshall community, and the excellent local bars creates a holiday celebration with a Lancaster character that is warm, historically rooted, and genuinely Pennsylvania Dutch Country.
Lancaster has one of the most beautifully preserved historic downtown districts in America and the SantaCon benefits from that extraordinary setting. The Santa costume competition draws on the F&M and Millersville communities and the Lancaster arts scene and the entries have a Lancaster combination of Pennsylvania Dutch country warmth and genuine holiday creativity that reflects the Red Rose City’s unique cultural heritage.
