A commitment to all things collegiate makes Joshua Tree look less like the California desert it’s named for and more like the basement of the Sigma Chi house. If you’re ever going to find a place where people still throw out such lines as, “You wanna come back to my place and watch a movie?” this would be that place. Everyone’s intelligent and polite enough, though, to make settling in over a game easy.
