Venue Information
Concept: Howl at the Moon will celebrate the opening of its 17th location in Midtown Manhattan this month. Howl is home to a high-energy, interactive music experience that’s been a nightlife staple in cities across the country from Los Angeles, to Boston for the last 25 years. Howl’s five full-time entertainers each play five instruments in addition to belting out hit after hit in a show that doesn’t stop. Whether it’s a Wednesday or Saturday night, you will hear everything from “Uptown Funk,” to “Living on a Prayer” in an energized club atmosphere where guests are encouraged to get on their feet.
Design: Howl at the Moon’s newest location underwent a multi-million-dollar renovation to transform the space that once housed Lucky Cheng’s into a state of the art entertainment venue. The NYC location features two floors complete with a mezzanine that overlooks the main stage below, two spacious bars and six flat screen TV’s to catch all of the action. Howl was conceived to provide a 360-degree nightlife experience in addition to having the capacity and host private events for up to 600 guests.
Food: To complement the music, Howl at the Moon’s Executive Chef Hezekiah Johnson serves up an eclectic food menu with unique twists on traditional American fare. Howl’s dinner menu boasts 9 different sandwiches along with 6 burger options like their Breakfast Burger complete with a sunny side up egg and 3 Little Pigs Burger with bacon, ham and BBQ pork. Guests also have the ability to build their own Mac & Cheese dish with 11 add-ons to choose from including Flank Steak, Chorizo and Gold Fish. Johnson helms from Philadelphia where he worked for Brulee Catering and Harvest Season Grill & Bar.
Cocktails: Howl at the Moon’s head mixologist Baylea Morgan, who has worked with the brand for the last 8 years, has created a fun-filled and fruity cocktail menu including signatures like a Honey Mango Margarita, Apricot Ginger Smash and St. Germaine Lemonade. Instead of a pricey bottle list, Howl boasts a shot list with options like Pineapple Upside Down Cake and Cinnamon Toast Shooter in addition to super-sized 86-ounce Hurricane, Painkiller and Fruit Roll Up buckets, perfect for larger parties. Howl also serves up 13 rotating specialty beers and 17 classic favorites by the draft and bottle.
