This Irish pub is right across the street from Cornell med-school housing and Sloan-Kettering, meaning hospital workers of all stripes stop by to wolf cheeseburgers, throw darts, and even do Jäger shots. The small but inviting room never feels empty, even though it opens at 11 a.m. — the earlier hours often house construction workers breaking for a cold one and batch of jalapeño poppers.
